TAX ASSOCIATE (4-7 years)

Our client is seeking a lawyer with four to seven years of experience to join its highly regarded tax group. As the ideal candidate, you have corporate and personal income tax experience gained at a mid or large sized law firm. HST and other commodity tax experience would be considered an asset.

In this role, you will provide advice to both domestic and international clients in regards to internal reorganizations, spin-off and split-off transactions, mergers and acquisitions, inbound and outbound investments, and general advisory services. You will also assist in implementing all manner of reorganizations and business combinations, and act as a resource for related HST and transfer tax issues.
