Solicitor

City of Burlington is seeking a lawyer with at least 3 years of experience to join its team as Solicitor. The ideal candidate will have experience in municipal law with a focus on commercial agreements, as well as agreements relating to IT projects and freedom of information and privacy legislation. Familiarity with procurement standards applicable to municipal governments will be considered an asset. Reporting directly to the City Solicitor, the successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and will be able to provide clear, concise and practical advice within the required deadlines.
