OPG is seeking an experienced labour and employment lawyer to join its team as Senior Counsel. Reporting to the AGC, the successful candidate will provide strategic advice to key internal business partners up to senior executive level. This role will suit an adaptable lawyer with superior communication skills and strong business acumen who can provide practical legal advice.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of management-side experience providing strategic advice, case management and advocacy for both labour and employment law matters. This experience should also include advising on issues relating to human rights, occupational health and safety, and internal investigations. The candidate should have a solid understanding of privacy issues and ideally have experience working in a highly regulated industry. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to build relationships and gain the trust of business stakeholders.
