We are currently seeking a Research Associate qualified to practice law in Ontario. The successful candidate will work closely as part of a team supporting the Research Partner and lawyers broadly within the firm.

We draw upon our firm’s extensive courtroom experience as we represent clients in a wide range of matters and practice areas in proceedings before all levels of Canadian courts. The ideal candidate for the position will have the below qualifications.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of litigation or research experience (new call applications welcomed)
  • Strong writing, drafting, research and analytical skills along with a demonstrated ability to conduct complex legal research and develop legal arguments
  • Proven organizational and practice management skills, a keen attention for detail and the ability to work as part of a team or independently
  • Demonstrated knowledge of advanced legal research methods, resources and platforms
  • Excellent academic performance and a commitment to a career in legal research
