Regulatory Lawyer – Life Sciences & Healthcare

A leading international law firm is currently seeking a Regulatory Lawyer focused on life sciences and healthcare as it seeks to expand its national life sciences and healthcare team.  The successful applicant can be located in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Quebec City or Ottawa.

In this role, you will advise clients on regulatory compliance and marketing matters, including product approval, product claims, advertising, licensing, packaging and labeling, market access and pricing, recalls, facility inspections and other product safety issues.  In addition, you will negotiate, draft and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements, including clinical trials, market research, manufacturing, promotions and sponsorship, supply, distribution and licensing.  Past exposure to regulated practices (pharmacy, veterinary, dentistry, etc.) will be viewed as an asset.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience gained at another firm and/or in house department.  This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work independently on high caliber files in a fast-paced environment.
