American Express is seeking a corporate/commercial lawyer to join the team in its North York office as Legal Counsel. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of post-call experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts as well as knowledge of the regulatory framework and requirements impacting financial services products. The successful candidate will have strong business acumen and experience providing legal support to build strategic relationships and acting as a trusted advisor to the business, ideally from an in-house environment.
