Legal Counsel, 4-7 Years

ALT is partnering with a global manufacturer headquartered in North Toronto to grow its legal department. Despite being the newest member of the legal team, you will be integral. This role is corporate/commercial in nature, supporting a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer contracts. We are looking for a lawyer with 4-7 years of solid corporate and commercial law experience acquired from a law firm or company setting. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also required. You must be a people person – someone who can create relationships with the business despite not always being in the same physical space. You will work closely with all departments including finance, compliance, safety, contracts and sales. This is an opportunity to get excellent business exposure and legal work within a highly respected global company.
