Leasing Lawyer

Our client, a leading law firm in Canada, is seeking a leasing lawyer to join their exceptional leasing team in Toronto. The successful candidate will represent landlords and tenants of all sizes and will negotiate, draft and review retail, office and industrial lease agreements and ancillary documentation; assist in the resolution of tenant disputes; and provide legal advice on lease defaults, risk allocation and insolvency matters. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 8 years of post-call commercial real estate experience focused on commercial leasing gained from a reputable law firm or a reputable in-house legal department.
