Senior Manager, National Tax

KPMG is seeking a lawyer to join its National Tax Centre, located in downtown Toronto, as Senior Manager. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of corporate tax experience gained at a leading law firm and a broad understanding of personal and trust tax issues. The successful candidate will have exceptional writing and analytical skills, strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with short deadlines. Successful completion of the CICA In-Depth Tax Course is considered an asset.

Reporting directly to the National Tax Centre Technical Leader, the successful candidate will support KPMG’s tax professionals across the country by monitoring breaking tax news and assimilating complex technical issues and communicating them in a clear way. The role will involve working with internal clients as the key point for technical dissemination of new tax legislation and tax court decisions.
