Knowledge Management Lawyer

This includes employee and labour relations, wrongful dismissal and other complex employment litigation, pension, benefits and executive compensation, education law, workplace safety and insurance, human rights, health and safety, pay equity and information, data security and privacy.

We are currently seeking a Knowledge Management Lawyer to join our firm. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for monitoring case law and statutory developments; preparing and reviewing internal and external communications on legal developments; reviewing and developing precedents and other internal tools to assist lawyers in servicing clients; participating in the design and delivery of internal and external workshops and training; and identifying process, technology and workflow improvements to ensure the continued gold standard delivery of our legal services. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and in a team oriented environment. They must have exceptional research and project management skills; strong attention to detail; excellent interpersonal skills; strong proficiency with law firm technology, knowledge and experience management best practices; and a service oriented nature with a passion for excellence. Sound judgment, strong oral and written communication skills, and excellent organization and multi-tasking skills are required in this role. Prior practice background in labour and employment law would be considered a substantial asset.
