In-House Labour Lawyer

Our in-house client is seeking a labour lawyer to join its team in Toronto as Supervisor, Employee Relations. The successful candidate will provide strategic advice on matters related to staff and labour relations including collective agreement interpretation, grievance administration, mediation/arbitration, and human rights matters (including RTW and Accommodation).  They will also represent the organization’s interests with various members of the bargaining unit(s) and will participate on several labour/management committees.   The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of broad management-side labour experience. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with interesting and varied work.  The position is initially for a one-year contract with the potential to join the organization on a permanent basis.
