Our Family Law Group is seeking an energetic, team-oriented and entrepreneurial Associate to join the team in our Vaughan office.

Miller Thomson’s Family Law team has significant expertise and an in-depth understanding of a multitude of family law issues. Our team assists clients with complex income, property, tax and corporate/business issues that arise within the context of family law support claims, property division and preservation, trust claims, and disclosure requests. Our team advocates on behalf of clients including in court proceedings, arbitrations, and collaborative family law matters.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent academic credentials;
• Two to four years of experience practicing exclusively in the area of family law;
• Strong drafting and analytical skills;
• A superior work ethic and be detail oriented;
• Experience working on family law matters involving complex income determination and property matters;
• A desire to work on challenging files;
• Proven client management skills;
• An entrepreneurial attitude; and,
• A license to practice in Ontario.
