The Employment Practice

As part of our Litigation Department, the employment group represents non-unionized employers and employees in the full spectrum of employment law issues, from hiring to termination, human rights, workplace investigations and reviews (with a specialization in anti- racism, anti-Black racism and systemic discrimination), and disability management. In addition to our advocacy work, we provide clients with ongoing risk management advice and have extensive experience in drafting and negotiating complex employment contracts and related agreements.

Position

We are currently recruiting for a talented and highly-motivated Mid-Level Associate lawyer to join the employment group in our Litigation Department.  The ideal candidate will:

  • Have been called to the Ontario Bar in 2018 or before;
  • Possess extensive employment law experience including human rights;
  • Have a demonstrated ability to develop and manage client relationships;
  • Possess excellent drafting and organizational skills;
  • Work well in a highly collaborative and professional team setting; and
  • Show leadership potential.

Other litigation experience will be considered an asset.
