Employment and Labour Associate (2 – 4 years of experience)

Our Toronto office is currently seeking to grow what is already one of the largest and strongest management-side employment and labour practices in the country.

Skills and Experience Required

The successful candidate will have had exposure to the full range of workplace issues that employers face including: labour board proceedings, labour arbitration, collective bargaining, human rights, wrongful dismissal, occupational health and safety, employment standards, workplace safety and insurance, executive employment contracts, pay equity, privacy law, progressive human resources strategies, and workplace policies.

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • 2 – 4 years of experience in a private practice environment in this area of law;
  • Excellent academics;
  • Commercial awareness and an ability to build relationships with clients; and
  • Strong interpersonal skills and initiative.
