Employee Relations Consultant

We are looking for a labour and employment lawyer to join our client’s Toronto office. Located in the heart of the financial district, our client is a Schedule 1 Canadian Bank, providing various services and products across the intermediary market. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide variety of day-to-day human resources matters and lead key initiatives relating to Employee Relations, including litigation matters; policy development and governance; recognition programs; HR communications; health and safety; and performance management.

 

The successful candidate will have 2-3 years of post-call experience working with employment-related legislation and an in-depth understanding of its linkages and impact to Human Resources in a business operation. Bilingual (English/French) and a CHRP designation would be considered an asset.
