Norton Rose Fulbright is proud to have been selected as one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers for several years!
Our corporate team in Ottawa is highly regarded for its significant experience in a broad range of regional, national and international corporate and financial transactions and matters across the full spectrum of industries. We are well positioned to provide strategic, business-oriented legal advice on complex domestic, cross-border and multijurisdictional transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private financings and venture capital transactions, debt and equity capital markets matters, and governance, general commercial and corporate advisory matters.
We are currently seeking to add to the existing strength of our team by adding an associate with experience in mergers and acquisitions (private and/or public), securities, and/or general corporate/commercial transactions. This presents an incredible opportunity to join a world-class group of professionals at an established Canadian law firm with an international legal practice, while working in a collegial and collaborative team that is both professionally and personally rewarding.
The ideal candidate will possess an LL.B or JD degree and will also have:
- 2+ years of related experience in either a private practice or in-house setting;
- exceptional client service, interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a confidence to take initiative;
- demonstrated business acumen and a strong commercial understanding; and
- strong personal and professional integrity and a hard-working and passionate approach.
While not required, bilingualism is viewed as an asset.
To apply, please register your resume online at www.nortonrosefulbright.com/ca/en/careers. We thank all candidates for their application, but will be contacting only those whom we select to invite for an interview.
