ALT Recruitment Partners has been exclusively engaged to lead the search for a corporate counsel associate to add to the legal department of a leading company headquartered in the Caribbean. We are looking for a bright, creative, dynamic and eager individual who is looking for a fast-paced career working for the family office of a high net-worth principal, with diverse interests in venture capital, cryptocurrency and cloud mining, real estate and development, wellness, transportation and other operations. This is an opportunity to work with leading and progressive professionals and gain first-hand exposure to emerging and exciting industries. The Corporate Counsel Associate will have a pivotal role in the business by providing technical sound legal advice on a range of issues while building and maintaining productive relationships.

This role will report to the General Counsel, Legal and is based on the Caribbean. As the ideal applicant, you will have 2-4 years of general corporate law experience from a Bay Street Toronto firm, ideally with experience in corporate finance and securities and drafting corporate contracts. The incumbent will draft and negotiate company contracts, real estate leases, and other legal documents; advise on regulatory and employment matters; assist with corporate governance, compliance, policies and procedures, and a variety of other duties.
