ALT has partnered with a publicly-traded entertainment company to assist the company in adding corporate counsel to the legal team. The right candidate will have 1-2 years of post-call experience practicing corporate law at a downtown Toronto law firm. Your experience will include general corporate/commercial contracts, corporate securities, and/or corporate M&A. To be the right fit for this role, you must be willing to work on any business matter, from governance and securities compliance to commercial contracts and IP agreements. The company needs a corporate lawyer who is motivated to enter the entertainment space and who is developing into an excellent lawyer but has no desire to stay in a law firm setting.
