Corporate Associate – Ottawa

Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes) is seeking an Associate with three to five years of corporate and commercial experience to join our leading national corporate practice group in the Ottawa office. This position will be highly integrated with the Toronto office and nationally.

Blakes is trusted to provide advice to leading businesses in Canada and worldwide. Our Corporate team provides strategic legal advice, particularly in complex negotiated transactions, both within Canada and internationally. Our lawyers focus on private M&A transactions, including private equity, strategic acquisitions and dispositions, and investments in emerging technology companies. Members of the corporate group also work on major power, infrastructure and public-private partnership (P3) projects and support a full range of commercial matters. The group helps clients understand and manage the legal issues that impact their businesses, including advising on transformative joint ventures, and complex corporate reorganizations.
