WeirFoulds welcomes new associate Rajeev Dewan

WeirFoulds is pleased to announce that Rajeev Dewan has joined our firm as an associate in our Corporate team.

Rajeev previously worked in the UK and the Middle East and has significant transactional and regulatory experience in Canadian capital markets and has a range of international experience in relation to IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity transactions.

Rajeev’s practice is focused on two principal areas:
(1) advising Canadian entrepreneurs and high-growth companies on all facets of corporate and securities law, with a particular emphasis on public offerings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, financial services regulation, and private equity and venture capital financings; and
(2) advising Canadian and international clients on cross-border transactions in and from Canada with emerging markets, specifically in relation to structuring and implementing: foreign investment, joint ventures, strategic alliances and establishing business operations.
