The Toronto Lawyers’ Association is thrilled to welcome our new Board President, Anna Wong for the 2025-2026 term.

Anna has actively contributed to the TLA community since joining the Board of Directors in 2015. She joined the Executive Committee in 2020 and has steadily taken on greater leadership responsibilities, benefiting from the mentorship of past presidents and the collaboration of a devoted board.

A strong advocate for collegiality and connection within the legal profession, Anna underscores the importance of in-person engagement for building stronger bonds and for professional development. She champions TLA events as key opportunities to foster camaraderie, promote civility, and strengthen Toronto’s legal community.

Signature TLA social events such as the Family Law Monthly Meet-Up and the recently introduced Personal Injury and Insurance Law Meet-Ups reflect this commitment. These gatherings are regularly promoted by the TLA and are open to both members and non-members. They offer valuable opportunities for lawyers to connect, collaborate, and support one another in their professional journeys.

The Toronto Lawyers Association (“TLA”) is the voice of 3,400 members who practice law in all disciplines principally in Toronto. Our mission is to promote and provide knowledge, advocacy and community by offering comprehensive, up-to-date legal resources; assistance and legal research from professional and experienced library staff; CPD accredited education programs; various newsletters; the Annual TLA Awards Gala as well as many other social events.

The TLA is centrally located in “the Rotunda” at 361 University, where our library, networking and social events space in the Courthouse provides many opportunities for our members to connect with lawyers and judges in the Toronto legal community.
