Stikeman Elliott welcomes new partner Meaghan Obee Tower

Stikeman Elliott is pleased to announce that Meaghan Obee Tower has become a partner in our Toronto office.

Meaghan Obee Tower’s practice focuses primarily on secured and unsecured lending, debt financing, financial services regulation and corporate insolvency/restructuring. She has extensive experience in private acquisition financings, corporate finance, private equity transactions, debtor-in-possession financings, asset-based lending, project finance and various other types of financing.

Ms. Obee Tower acts as counsel to borrowers, lenders and lending syndicates on domestic and cross-border financings, and as counsel to various parties in corporate insolvencies. She has also acted as counsel to private equity funds in connection with leveraged mergers and acquisitions. She also advises banks, trust companies and the insurance sector on the regulation of such industries, including both in connection with normal course regulatory compliance and regulatory matters in connection with extraordinary transactions.
