Sonia Nijjar has been promoted to Partner at Neinstein LLP

Neinstein LLP is pleased to announce that Sonia Nijjar has been promoted to Partner.

Sonia began her legal career at Neinstein as a summer student. As another example of our industry-leading retention rate, she completed her articles at the firm in 2015 and went on to focus on medical malpractice litigation. Sonia has since served two consecutive terms as Chair of the Medical Malpractice section at the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, published numerous articles on medical-legal issues, and is a frequently sought after speaker at conferences, events, and post-secondary institutions. Alongside a team of her Partners, she is counsel for several School Boards and schools across Ontario in a mass tort lawsuit against Meta, TikTok, and Snap. Sonia’s thought leadership and commitment are demonstrated by her role in directing the firm’s strategic initiatives in business development and knowledge management. She has been consistently recognized as a “One to Watch” lawyer by Best Lawyers in Canada™ since 2021.
