Smart & Biggar’s Jamie-Lynn Kraft awarded IPIC prize for the highest overall mark in the 2017 Trademark Agent Qualifying Examination.

Ottawa associate Jamie-Lynn Kraft adds trademark agent to her qualifications.

We are especially pleased to announce that Jamie-Lynn achieved the highest mark overall in Canada on the Trademark Agent Qualifying Examination. She will be awarded the Educational Foundation Award by the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada during the IPIC Annual Conference in Vancouver.

Jamie-Lynn’s practice includes trademark counselling throughout the trademark lifecycle, including clearance, prosecution, opposition and enforcement. She regularly performs trademark clearance searches and provides availability opinions, prepares and files trademark applications, and prosecutes trademark applications before the Canadian Intellectual Property Office. Jamie-Lynn also represents clients before the Canadian Trademark Opposition Board. She is an asset to her clients because she has a passion for helping businesses grow and for providing the tools needed to fully harness the potential of her clients’ brands.
