The Toronto Lawyers Association’s Honsberger Award is awarded each year to a Toronto lawyer, in recognition of a single unique accomplishment or ongoing contributions to the legal community and the community at large, exemplifying the TLA’s three pillars: Knowledge, Community, and Advocacy.

We are pleased to announce that Rebecca Durcan will be the recipient of this prestigious award for 2024.

The Toronto Lawyers Association (“TLA”) is the voice of 3,400 members who practice law in all disciplines principally in Toronto. Our mission is to promote and provide knowledge, advocacy and community by offering comprehensive, up-to-date legal resources; assistance and legal research from professional and experienced library staff; CPD accredited education programs; various newsletters; the Annual TLA Awards Gala as well as many other social events.


The TLA is centrally located in “the Rotunda” at 361 University, where our library, networking and social events space in the Courthouse provides many opportunities for our members to connect with lawyers and judges in the Toronto legal community.
