Fasken Martineau is pleased to announce that May Cheng, Chair of the Intellectual Property Group, has been named Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Intellectual Property, published quarterly by Federated Press. This highly regarded post has been held by Ron Dimock for the past 8 years.

May was also recently awarded a Silver ranking for both anti-counterfeiting and trademark enforcement expertise in the 2013 edition of the WTR1000: The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals, published by World Trademark Review. Fasken Martineau’s overall Silver ranking in the 2013 WTR1000 issue coincides with its move into the Top 10 Firms in Canada for trademark filings.
