Loopstra Nixon LLP welcomes Jadeney Wong as an Associate.

Jadeney (“Jade”) Wong is an associate in the Commercial Litigation group.

As a call to the Ontario Bar in 2021, Jade provides strategic legal advice for clients’ claims ranging from shareholder and corporate disputes, contracts, consumer protection, competition, construction, fraud, and private international law.

Before joining Loopstra Nixon, Jade gained broad litigation experience from her articles at a large national full-service corporate firm, at a commercial litigation boutique, and with a criminal defence practitioner in Toronto. Jade has also appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice, and the Small Claims Court.

Jade graduated cum laude from the accelerated JD/MA joint-degree program from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law and Carleton University’s Norman Paterson School of International Affairs. She was an active community member throughout her academic programs, receiving nine awards such as the Ontario Graduate Scholarship. Jade also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with distinction from Queen’s University.

In addition to English, Jade is proficient in French, Spanish, Italian, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Outside of practice, Jade enjoys strength-training, travelling, and fostering dogs.
