Managing Partner Craig Rix is pleased to announce that Stephanie Savoni has joined the firm as WSIB Counsel.
“We are delighted that Stephanie has joined the firm. Stephanie has built an extensive advisory and advocacy practice and I am confident that her skill set and wealth of knowledge in workplace safety and insurance law will complement the expertise of our workplace safety and insurance group,” said Mr. Rix.
Ms. Savoni obtained her LL.B. from the University of Windsor and was called to the bar in 2000. Prior to joining Hicks Morley, she spent a significant portion of her career working at the Office of the Employer Adviser—an independent agency of the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development—where she specialized in providing advice and representation to Ontario employers in workplace safety and insurance matters.
“I am thrilled to join a firm that has such an outstanding reputation for excellence in both the work it does and for its commitment to client service,” said Ms. Savoni. “I am looking forward to working with the team here and to helping our clients navigate complex workplace safety and insurance issues.”
With over 120 lawyers, we are a leading law firm in Canada representing employers on human resources and advocacy issues. Our role as a firm is to help clients effectively manage their workplace in a manner that best suits their organization's needs.
