Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti LLP is pleased to announce that Nikki Banwait has joined the firm as an associate in our Toronto office. Nikki practices in all areas of management-side labour and employment law, including human rights, labour relations and collective bargaining, occupational health and safety, employment contracts, and workplace investigations. Nikki represents and advises employers across a wide range of industries in both the private and public sectors. Nikki maintains a particular interest in the area of workers’ compensation law and has experience assisting employers in claims management and appeals before the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. Nikki also serves as a Member-at-Large on the Ontario Bar Association’s Worker’s Compensation Section Executive. Nikki was both a Summer and Articling student with the firm before returning as an associate.
