Cassels Brock is pleased to announce that Brie Kimel has joined the firm's Toronto office as an associate in our Business Law Group.

Brie Kimel is an associate in the Entertainment Law and Business Law Groups. Prior to joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Brie was both a summer and articling student at the firm. During this time, she gained experience working on various matters within the Business Law, Securities, and Advocacy practice groups.
Bries experience includes conducting legal research on intellectual property, entertainment, and general corporate matters; assisting with asset and share purchase transactions; and drafting a variety of corporate and commercial documents. Brie also co-authored a paper on brand management which was published in the World Trademark Review.
Brie attended law school at Western University, where she was the recipient of the Maritime Law Book Prize for the highest standing in Legal Ethics. Brie also participated in the High School Project, teaching a series of legal seminars to high school students in London, Ontario, as a volunteer lecturer. Brie spent a semester of her final year on exchange in Los Angeles, California, where she studied international entertainment law.
