Blaney McMurtry Welcomes New Associate, Sotiri Katsuras

Sotiri is developing a broad corporate commercial practice, assisting clients with a wide range of business law matters including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, securities, and general corporate matters. He provides pragmatic solutions tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Drawing on his business education and legal training, Sotiri offers advice that is both practical and commercially focused. Clients value his clarity, responsiveness, and creative problem-solving, ensuring their objectives remain at the forefront.

Sotiri developed his negotiation skills in law school, winning Osgoode’s Negotiation Cup and representing the school in international competition. He was also awarded the Justice Andromache Karakatsanis Student Scholarship in recognition of academic excellence and community engagement.

A dedicated member of the Greek community, Sotiri serves on the board of the Hellenic Canadian Lawyers’ Association, supporting initiatives that foster cultural engagement, mentorship, and professional development.
