Smart & Biggar congratulates new Principal Victoria Townsend

Smart & Biggar is proud to announce the appointment of Victoria Townsend as Principal in our Patents: EICT practice.

Victoria Townsend is a patent agent based in Toronto with over 20 years of experience, and steps into the role of principal in Smart & Biggar’s EICT team.

Victoria said, “From a trainee at a patent & trademark agency in Ottawa fresh out of engineering, to 17 years at an IP boutique in Toronto, to principal in a national IP firm – it has been quite the journey! I am proud of this recognition and grateful to my colleagues (both old and new!) for their support and guidance along the way. I look forward to continuing on as part of the talented team at Smart & Biggar.”
