The Opportunity:

Beutel Goodman is seeking an experienced corporate lawyer (5+ years) to join its fantastic team in Toronto (office is at Yonge and Eglinton). Reporting to the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer, the Legal Counsel will play a key role on the development and maintenance of all legal and compliance aspects of the business. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate law, securities law, M&A, and/or financial services (experience working in a regulated industry such as asset management or financial services considered an asset).
