Chris Paliare will receive the TLA Award of Distinction

We are pleased to announce that Chris Paliare O.Ont., LSM, LL.B., LL.M., Partner at Paliare Roland Rosenberg Rothstein Barristers LLP, Toronto will be the recipient of this prestigious award for 2023.

The Toronto Lawyers Association’s Award of Distinction is awarded each year to a Toronto lawyer who has a demonstrated record of excellence, and who has made an extraordinary contribution to the integrity and worth of the law and to the legal profession. We are pleased to announce that Chris Paliare O.Ont., LSM, LL.B., LL.M., Partner at Paliare Roland Rosenberg Rothstein Barristers LLP, Toronto will be the recipient of this prestigious award for 2023. The Award will be bestowed on him at the TLA’s annual Awards Gala to be held on March 2, 2023 in The Carlu Round Room at 444 Yonge Street.

TLA President, Erin O’Donovan, shared a few words about Chris:

He is regarded nationally and around the world as a consummate professional and protector of human rights, truth, and justice. The Toronto Lawyers Association (“TLA”) is the voice of 3,400 members who practice law in all disciplines principally in Toronto. Our mission is to promote and provide knowledge, advocacy and community by offering comprehensive, up-to-date legal resources; assistance and legal research from professional and experienced library staff; CPD accredited education programs; various newsletters; the Annual TLA Awards Gala as well as many other social events.


The TLA is centrally located in “the Rotunda” at 361 University, where our library, networking and social events space in the Courthouse provides many opportunities for our members to connect with lawyers and judges in the Toronto legal community.
