OPPORTUNITY FOR INSURANCE DEFENCE LAWYER

Blaney McMurtry LLP has an immediate opening for an associate with 2 – 4 years of relevant experience to join our busy Insurance Litigation Group.

The successful candidate will confidently handle their own file load of general insurance defence work, particularly MVA claims (tort only), occupiers’ liability, professional negligence, government defence, property and product liability, while also assisting with larger insurance defence matters requiring assessments, drafting and litigation/dispute resolution support.

Strong academic credentials, exceptional research, drafting, writing and analytical skills, negotiation and advocacy skills, and proven client service and practice management skills are essential.
