Workplace Investigations Associate

Mortimer Khoraych is a boutique workplace investigations law firm, specializing in complex workplace and institutional investigations and culture audits. We are seeking to add a mid-level or senior investigator to our team to support our growing practice.

We provide a collegial work environment, where you will work both collaboratively on investigation files and have carriage of your own investigations as lead investigator. You will be joining a close-knit group of investigators, and will receive regular mentorship and professional development opportunities.

We offer flexible and remote work arrangements, no minimum hours requirement, and competitive compensation commensurate with similarly situated firms.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have an LL.B or J.D. degree and will also have:

3+ years of relevant experience conducting workplace, institutional or service-related investigations
Excellent interviewing and fact-finding skills.
Ability to synthesize large volumes of data, and critically assess and weigh evidence.
Knowledgeable in EDI, trauma-informed investigations, unconscious bias and Anti-Black and Anti-Indigenous racism.
Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.
Case-management skills, including time-management.
Bilingualism is considered an asset.
