Litigation Lawyer (International Trade & Investment)

Foremost in its field, the firm has a proven track record as counsel appearing before World Trade Organization panels, arbitrators, and the Appellate Body, regional free trade agreement panels, investor-state dispute settlement tribunals, Canadian customs and trade authorities, and Canadian courts.

The firm is growing and looking to add an Associate to its team in Ottawa. The ideal candidate will have 2 plus years’ topflight litigation experience and exceptional written and oral communication skills. Special consideration will be given to candidates with “Big Law” experience and training. While experience in international trade would be considered an asset, the firm takes the attitude that this area can be taught: more important are solid litigation skills, a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality, and team orientation.
