WEL Partners welcomes lawyer Paul Murphy

WEL Partners is pleased to announce Paul M. Murphy has joined its team as a lawyer.

Paul M. Murphy joined WEL Partners as a Lawyer in 2021. Paul completed his Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Sydney. Prior to law school, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Western University. Paul was called to the Ontario Bar in 2012.

Paul is an experienced litigator whose practice focuses on estates, trusts and wills disputes. He has achieved success for his clients in contentious trusts and estates matters, and has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Paul is particularly well-versed in will challenges and defences involving issues of testamentary capacity, undue influence, as well as dependant relief claims.

When not practicing law, Paul loves outdoor adventures with his wife and daughter. He also likes to stay active by playing golf, soccer and hockey. Paul enjoys volunteering in youth-based literacy and leadership programs.
