Senior Construction Counsel

We are currently seeking a Senior Construction Counsel qualified to practice law in Ontario. We are looking for a lawyer who is recognized as, or will continue to develop into someone who is sought after as an expert in this area. The successful candidate will specialize in this type of work and be excellent in the field. This is not a partnership track position.

Qualifications

• 7 plus years of call
• Interest, expertise and demonstrated previous experience in Construction and Infrastructure Litigation
• Solid understanding of construction industry and practices
• Familiarity with lien claims and procedure
• Exposure to Real Estate Litigation is also an asset, but not required
• Ability to manage large scale files and work effectively in a larger team
• Exceptional time management, organizational and prioritization skills
• Excellent judgment
• Client centered approach with commitment to providing outstanding service
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Business development efforts may be required to support the practice area, but there is no requirement to build a practice independently
