Torys is pleased to welcome Ian Li to the firm.

Ian Li’s practice focuses on competition law and foreign investment review matters. He provides advice to clients on all aspects of Canadian competition law in connection with complex mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances under the Competition Act. In his foreign investment review practice, Ian advises clients on net benefit and cultural sector investment reviews under the Investment Canada Act. He has represented numerous foreign investors, including state-owned enterprises, as well as domestic targets in acquisition transactions.
