Janice’s practice focuses on estates, trusts and charities. She advises clients on a wide range of estate planning matters, including inter-generational transfers of wealth using estate planning documents including trusts, wills and powers of attorney with a focus on wealth preservation and the minimization of taxes on death.

She is a trusted advisor in sophisticated and complex domestic and cross-border estate planning and regularly advises executors and trustees during the administration of estates and trusts. Janice has a specific focus in estate planning for professionals, and working with family businesses and closely-held private companies with regard to their tax and succession planning, including corporate compliance, reorganizations and estate freezes.
