Pensions & Benefits Lawyer – 2 to 4 Years’ Experience

The successful candidate will:

  • have 2 to 4 years of pension law experience
  • have some experience advising plan administrators, plan sponsors, trustees, and major institutional pension funds on a wide range of matters including pension plan design, administration, governance, legislative compliance, fiduciary responsibilities, plan wind-ups, pension fund investment, surplus strategies, and pension and benefit issues arising from corporate transactions
  • have some experience advising clients on employee and executive compensation programs including supplemental retirement arrangements and deferred profit sharing plans
  • possess excellent communication and drafting skills
  • have excellent academic credentials
  • be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada
