Lerners LLP is pleased to announce that Robert Bell has joined the Toronto office as a partner.

A well-known civil litigator, Mr. Bell has extensive trial and appellate experience at all levels, including the Supreme Court of Canada. His stature and experience complement Lerners’ class actions, appeals and commercial litigation teams.

Mr. Bell has expertise in product liability cases (particularly in the automotive, aerospace and consumer products industries), class proceedings, and complex commercial and defamation cases.

Rob brings a diverse practice and a solid reputation for collegiality and professionalism. In addition to his reputation for legal excellence, he is known as a trusted advisor and mentor to many.

Published widely, he has created and led advocacy training programs for the Law Society of Upper Canada, The Advocates’ Society and University of Toronto. He is frequently invited to participate at conferences as a keynote speaker, facilitator, panellist and moderator.
