Lenczner Slaght, the Toronto-based law firm that focuses exclusively on litigation, is proud to welcome two exceptionally strong advocates to the partnership – Rebecca Jones and Ryan Breedon. Both articled at Lenczner Slaght and were mentored as associates by the firms outstanding senior litigators, gaining unparalleled trial experience as they honed their advocacy skills. The two were recognized as being named among Canadas Best Lawyers by Best Lawyers in 2014 – based on annual peer ratings.
Ryan Breedon has established a solid reputation as a trial lawyer in commercial, insurance and securities matters, professional liability, construction disputes, and litigation involving charities and estates. He has conducted many civil trials in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, before judges and juries, as lead counsel, as well as several professional discipline hearings before a variety of regulators and a number of private arbitrations on commercial and construction matters. Ryan also regularly appears in the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Divisional Court in civil and administrative matters.
Ryan teaches trial advocacy at Osgoode Hall Law School and currently co-chairs Lenczner Slaght’s Student Program.
