Torys’ new office in Calgary is seeking associates with one to six years of experience in corporate, M&A, securities, lending or oil and gas transactions. The ideal candidates have high-quality experience at a leading law firm and top academic credentials. Essential qualities include the motivation to perform at a high level, the ability to work independently, a good business sense and a strong desire to succeed.

We established our Calgary office to fulfill the needs of our Canadian and international clients that are active in Alberta. The addition of a Calgary presence to Torys’ existing platforms in Toronto and New York will better align the firm with the evolving needs of its clients, and enhance its reputation as a leading international firm. You will be joining an experienced, collaborative team of seven new partners who will serve the firm’s clients in existing engagements and in the large and growing energy resource sector in which Canada is a major player internationally. Torys’ team in Calgary has expertise in the key areas of energy, M&A and finance, and has the capability to execute transactions with the superior service that is a hallmark of the firm.
