American Express is seeking a corporate/commercial lawyer to join the team in its Markham office as Legal Counsel. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts as well as knowledge of the regulatory framework and requirements impacting financial services products. The successful candidate will also have strong business acumen and in-house experience assessing organizational risk and acting as a trusted advisor to senior management.
