Phil is a corporate lawyer with a unique combination of international business experience and transactional legal experience.

He has developed proficiency in multiple areas of corporate law, advising clients on acquisitions and dispositions, financings, corporate reorganizations, corporate governance, strategic alliances, and joint ventures, and negotiating and drafting commercial agreements.

Throughout the years, Phil has played a key role in the development and implementation of innovative international business strategies for various North American and foreign companies by advising clients on international site selection, R&D projects, economic incentives negotiations including tax relief, and direct communications with governments in the expansion of incentive-based policies to attract Foreign Direct Investment. He takes a keen interest in resolving any disputes amicably and negotiating mutually satisfying solutions for clients in all corporate/commercial activities.

Phil was called to the Bar of Ontario after obtaining is Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Ottawa. He is fluent in English and French.
