Maleki Barristers Congratulates Maria Belfon on Becoming a Partner

We are pleased to congratulate Maria Belfon on becoming a partner at Maleki Barristers.

Maria represents clients in high conflict parenting and financial disputes arising from separation and divorce. In her practice, Maria advocates for clients at mediation, arbitration, and court at different stages of the litigation process to reach a practical and fair resolution of their family law matters.

Maria has practiced family law since her call to the Bar in 2014. Prior to joining Maleki Barristers, Maria worked at boutique family law firms in downtown Toronto. She completed her articles at the Office of the Children’s Lawyer, representing children’s legal interests, and during law school, she worked at the Family Courts across the GTA, assisting unrepresented litigants. Maria obtained her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and graduated summa cum laude from York University with an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
