Hicks Morley is pleased to announce that Jessica Herfst has joined the firm as an associate in our Toronto office. Jessica provides advice and representation to employers in both the private and public sectors on a wide range of labour, employment and human rights issues. This includes grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining, human rights complaints, wrongful dismissals and workers’ compensation.
Jessica received her Canadian Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor, and her American Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Law. During law school, she represented clients in a variety of matters while volunteering with Community Legal Aid, the William Booth Legal Aid Clinic and the Immigration Law Clinic in Detroit.
Prior to law school, Jessica earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Windsor, majoring in psychology.
