Smart & Biggar welcomes Bryce Dorin as Associate in Ottawa

Smart & Biggar is pleased to announce that Bryce Dorin has joined our Ottawa office as an associate.

Smart & Biggar is pleased to announce that Bryce Dorin has joined the firm as an Associate in Patent practice in our Ottawa Office.

Bryce’s practice focuses on the preparation and acquisition of patent protection.  He aids in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications before the Canadian Intellectual Property Office, the United States Patent and Trademark Office and abroad, with particular emphasis on patents related to electrical and mechanical technologies.

He holds a B.A.Sc. (Engineering Physics) from Queen’s University, a M.A.Sc. (Silicon Photonics) from Carleton University and a Ph.D. (Laser Instrumentation) from The University of Manchester.  Bryce worked with a large academic institution in their IP department prior to joining the firm.
